Story

  Tenjou Utena is a tomby who attends Ohtori Academy, being drawn into the duels and the Rose Bride by her ring.
  When Utena was young, she attempts to drown herself. A prince comes along and saves her, telling her that if she keeps a noble hear, they will meet again. He also gives a ring with a rose emblem on it. Utena remembers that he smelled of roses.
  Utena was drawn to Ohtori Academy by a man who had the scent of the same roses as her prince. She starts to attend Ohtori Academy. Utenasaves Anthy, the Rose Bride, from Sonji, her abusive boyfriend, by dueling with him. Because she dueled with Sonji, and won, Utena has now gained possession of the Rose Bride. Because of this, Utena has just dedicated herself to protecting Anthy from other duelists who fight to claim her...and the revolution.
