| An Altar is an important piece in your craft. The way to set an altar is entirely up to you. I choose an altar that represent the flow of energy. The crystals are pointed one in and one out. Also there is one white candle and one black. Both the candles and the crystals creat an engery flow from me into the altar. I have two statues one of the God and one of the Goddess. I have an altar penace on the end were I stand with the wand right above it. My athame lay to the right and the bell is place behind it. There is also a bowl of sea salt behind that and a vile of altar oil to the left of the bowl. On the left side I have a altar protection potion and a chalice of water. In the middle behind the statues is a censor of incence. It's always a good idea to decorate your altar for the up coming sabbat. Add whatever reminds you of the season. But be careful certain flowers and herbs have means that you may not want, so choose wisely and do a little research.
