INTRODUCTION TO STAINED GLASS #2
Crossings at Carnegie, in Zumbrota MN
March 8 & 9, 2008
Such a spectacular setting with the most AWESOME natural light! Seven students this time, simpler projects and the able assistance of Marlys June Oliver, my Goddess in Training. I'll be back June 28 & 29 for a 3-D Class. Some day,
I hope to meet the fabled Marie who lets me stay at her house while I'm there!   -Connie
Starting above and going
clockwise, the happy bunch are: Marlys, Lori at Work, Dean, Dennis, Mary, Sherry, and Gwen
just below here. Thanks to Lori & Earl for giving Marlys the fun farm memories and Mary Doerr (from the January Group) for treating us to a tour of the Dancing Winds Farm and delicious dinner!
This class was ..... "Fun, inspiring, beautiful - Wonderful Class!" "Informative, challenging, excellent - Being my first experience with stained glass, I felt completely educated."  "Very impressed with handouts." "Intensive, fun, cool" "Fun, challenging, inspiring. Great Class!" "The content was well-organized." "She let us have fun while we learned."
Connie is coming back June 28 & 29 to teach you my secrets to well-constructed 3-D stained glass. Students will complete a tealite holder and trinket box from beveled glass as well as a small lantern complete with a light fixture! Connie will provide all the glass, tools and materials for these projects so there will be NO GLASS CUTTING! You will simply foil, solder and finish because this class is about you absorbing some new information to take your glass crafting to a whole new level! And having fun while you're at it!
