Aaron Roe
1983-2007
Unfortunately, I did not know Aaron or his family personally, but that does not matter to me. He will still have my utmost respect, and so will his family. I know all to well how it feels to lose someone very close to the heart. As a Local Band promoter, it is my job to show my appreciation and love for the Bands, their friends, and family.
May God Bless his precious Soul, and help guide his family and friends through this very difficult time.
Aaron will never be forgotton.
1962-1986
Cliff' joined Metallica on December 28th 1982. His first show with the band was at The Stone in California, 1983. His last appearance with the band was on September 26th 1986. They were on tour in Sweden, when tragedy struck. On September 27th, the day after they played at Stockholm Sweden, the band suffered a horrible loss. The driver of their tour bus lost control and flipped numerous times. As James, Kirk and Lars realized what happened, they find that the bus was lying on top of Cliff. He lay unconscious, as the rescue workers tried to lift the bus off of him. But as they tried to raise the bus off of him, they dropped it, landing on Cliff again. Cliff never did wake up.
His funeral was held in Castro Valley California on October 7th, 1986.
Cliff was a magnificent musician. He will forever be remembered.
As one of the biggest fans of Metallica, I salute you Cliff.
