He was a pirate for decades, till Korea became a power on the seas and his ship was taken out by the Korean Turtle Ships-ships armored with giant turtle shells. So he went back to the mainland -raiding through the Carpathians and Russia. He tried to keep black diamonds from going into circulation-bringing up the price and creating a stockpile of wealth for himself. He then was unheard of for quite some time.
During the time of the Inquisition he heard his ancient enemy had reestablished themselves, and he came out of his solitude-starting an Intelligence system-gathering information by following the movements of the Inquisitors. It was now that he starts acquiring an agency of ghouls and vampires alike-digging up information for this and that-creating a vast Intelligence Network. Once that was established, he dissappeared again, not reappearing till the Americas were established.
His enemy fled to the new land and Isaac's wife was happy to think that the war with this enemy was now over, but that was not to be. He went after them, and she went her own way. So now he must face his enemy alone, just like he started.
