Why do I use the greek version of her name?
Thats like me asking why do you not use the egyptian version of Thoths name? Well the reason I use the greek one is because it sounds more feminine, and I believe that Mayet is a very feminine figure.

What her name means
Now I could go into a long lecture on what her name means and why it means that etc. But I will keep it short and to the point. Basically the name Ma'at means truth justice and order. She is not always a goddess but is mainly seen as a concept of justice. She is the foundations of any civilisation and is often seen and called as. The beloved of the Pharoh.
