| It's Not The Size Of The Boat... My View on the whole "Size Doesn't Matter" thing. Hi Guys. So I have had this discussion with many friends, etc..thru the years and I have a little analogy I would like to share. We have all heard the old saying, "It's not the size of the boat, it's the motion of the ocean". Well I have expounded on that and I came up with this many, many, years ago and have been sharing it ever since - so if you ever heard a similar version, it could probably be traced back to me. LOL. This popular saying is true - to a point. Allow me to explain. You see, it's not that simple. If the boat is a cruiseliner and so large that it doesn't fit in the harbor, we have a problem. It won't matter what the motion is because the harbor won't be able to feel a damn thing but OUCH! If the boat is so tiny that the harbor does not know it's there, we have a problem because the ocean can motion all it wants but the harbor can't feel a damn thing. If the boat is a normal attractive size, but the captain is unskilled, we have a problem and it's a waste of a damn good ship. What most women want, is a decent, average sized yacht with an experienced and sensitive Captain to guide the boat gently into the harbor and know how to maneuver it so that all the motion of the ocean is taken advantage of. All we want is to be like Goldilocks and get it "just right"! Most normal, average, women do not want John Holmes. Only porn stars and a minority of women want some freakishly large whaler. The rest of us see that and go..."OUCH"! No thank you! I don't like pain. There is such a thing as TOO BIG. Now, you are probably wondering if there is such a thing as too small - well, yes. If she has to ask, "are you in yet?", then it's probably too small. We are all different - what is too big for one, is just right for another, is too small for the other, ect. If you are "average" - then as far as I am concerned - you are just right. :-) Now, gentlemen - stop obsessing about it and just concentrate on quality, rather than quantity; foreplay rather than wham-bam, and find ways to be romantic and thoughtful. Someone once said a woman's most powerful sexual organ is her brain - and they were right. Be a nice guy, help out with household stuff, talk about intellectual things, listen to her, and find ways to let her know you think about her when she is not around and be willing talk about the bedroom when you aren't actually in it. A good woman will reciprocate and return the pleasure when it is given and initiated by a good man. That's my 2 cents on that. |
