Our Mission Statement

We feel that it is our mission to: (1) promote understanding of the Wiccan religion and Witchcraft to the general public, (2)To educate the public as to what we do and do not do and, (3) to educate any persons who seeks the wisdom of the Wiccan Religion as a religious Path for their life in Perfect Love and Perfect Trust in the God and Goddess. (4) to instill in each member to place their faith in the God and Goddess rather than placing it to other humans. We follow Deity rather than following a person.

Who We Are

Our circle is composed of one circle of three grouping.

The first is referred to the INNER CIRCLE
that which studies, teaches and is the priesthoods and priestesshoods of the Goddess Garden, the oath keepers to the God and Goddess! Only those 18 and over (or those who have earned the adult degree with parental permission) may be of the inner circle.

the next inclusion is that of the next ring, that of the CHILDREN'S CIRCLE, that comprised of  3 group levels...

The Sprouts Group 7 and below

The Forest Folk Group 7 to 11

The Harmony Group 11 to 18

The children's circle has a age appropriate studies and degrees available on basic magicks  (ie: sabbats, wheel of the year, esbats, herbs, etc) so that they may share in the practice correctly.

The next grouping is that of the RAINBOW CIRCLE, that of our disabled members. A person may be in any of the aforementioned groups when a member of  Rainbow Circle (ie: Rainbow AND Harmony group etc). We have special studies and degree levels available to meet the needs for each person in this group to help enrich their practice and their bond with Nature, the God and the Goddess. We do not discriminate.

Our Symbol

Our Symbol for the Goddess Garden has always been a Rainbow...
as earned by our priestesses with our cords system...

it only seems correct to make sure that we can help keep that rainbow in the sky for all to enjoy....

what is a rainbow?
a mix of water and light which reflects colors to create hope and happiness

sometimes that water is tears... water ALWAYS heals... the light sometimes is just within our own eyes or hearts...

hopefully all ends in smiles ;o)

What We Do

We are an Family Orientated Eclectic Working Circle, both online and in realtime. We honor most pagan traditions and practices, trying not to exclude, except if we consider a practice harmful to the minds or bodies of our youth. We are not a poly-amorous group, altho we do not exclude poly-amours from our group.

Goddess Garden Cord Colors

The idea behind the cords is to embrace and preserve specific order and sacred attributes. To give recognition where recognition and respect has been earned! Many like to make the cords the correct length to form a 9-foot circle for rituals. In cords, size does not matter. Sleeve Stripes or chevrons may be substituted. The Elder Council awards these and they may not be worn by anyone not having earned the specific degree.

White ~ Dedicate~ Symbolizing beginnings and purity, starting as a clean slate.

Green~ 1st degree completed ~Symbolizing stability, growth and fertility as one advances with self and Deity.

Yellow~ 2nd degree completed ~Symbolizing wisdom, creativity, intellect, confidence and communication as one gains experience.

Purple~ 3rd degree completed~ Symbolizing spirituality, religion, the color of the divine force, power and healing... all things held sacred

Silver and Gold Vestment Sash~ Intuition and balance, the great rite, creation ... symbolizing unity with each other and the Gods and Goddess within and without

the following cords are earned either thru our mentoring program or from being responsible for teaching via one of our email lists.

Orange~ novice teacher~ Symbolic of success and action. Success in attaining the required level to teach, and action in deciding to put that learning into aiding others.

Red ~ first degree teacher~ Symbolic of the energy, passion & courage needed to teach and pass on any knowledge and experience. The color of life force/blood ... ensuring future generations gain the required teachings and understanding to ensure the old ways continues to flow.

Blue~ 2nd degree teacher~ Symbolizing intuitive wisdom, spiritual inspiration, and creativity. The color of the calming and reassuring waters of life. All needed to aid initiates continue on their path of Wicca.

Black~ 3rd degree teacher~ The total of all colors combined

All the colors when worn next to each other form a rainbow.

To the ancients, who believed celestial phenomena were signs of divine activity, the appearance of a rainbow in the wake of a fierce storm signified the presence of a benign deity. Because it appeared to span the divide between the heavens and earth, the rainbow was a potent symbol of divine communication.

In Goddess Garden, the cords, when worn next to each other symbolize the communication skills you have mastered with your peers, your deities and yourself, as well as your link with the higher states of consciousness and the realms of heaven and the earth.
