I don't have the money to get a food storage
Ehh, I have heard this a hundred times. My brother says this all the time. Once he said this to me while in the heck out lane at the local Waste-mart with 2 new DVD's, a CD, and the latest video game in his cart. As I am out spoken I asked him how he couldn't afford food storage but he could afford the latest entertainment. Its all about prioitys people.
Take a look at what your spending your money on. If you have a closet full of the latest faions and 20+ pairs of shoes, now may be the time to reevaluate your priorities. Look at your spending kabits and figure out where you can cut corners to have some extra money for food storage. Here are some ways I cut my budget to have extra money for food storage.
Cloth diapers- Besides being 1/10 the cost of disposables you are saving you baby exposure to harmfull chemicals and they don't take 500 years to biodegrade.
Eating out- how many times a week do you eat out, it all adds up.
Clothing- How many pairs of shoes do you own? Are you always up to date with the latest fashion? Maybe you could cut out some unessisary clothing shopping sprees
