Pegasus
A pegasus is a white horse with huge wings that help it fly.  It's story starts when Medusa was killed in the old Greek legend.

When Medusa was killed by Hercules, Pegasus was born out of her head.  The horse then helped Hercules through all of his adventures.  As a "retirement," the Pegasus brought lightning bolts to Zeus.  This is why the pegasus is known as the "bearer of lightning."

A pegasus is sometimes portrayed with a horn but this is mostly incorrect.  The pegasus and the unicorn are two different creatures with two different origins.

The pegasus can be seen in Greek myths about Hercules.

Now for the answer you've all been waiting for: one pegasus, two pegasi.
