About The GodArena The GodArena is an interactive web based Role-Playing Game for all people. The idea behind it is that you (your Character) has for some reason been placed in the GodArena...(your reasons are your own) The arena is a large coliseum type stadium based somewhere on the border of Canada and the US, and is used for high stake fighting that could end in some very interesting ways. All you have to do is write the story of what your character does during his/her time in the GodArena and our 5 Story Judges judge your posts pieces them together and decide whether you win the match that you are assigned to. It is possible to request a match if you wish. All in all is just a place where you can have as much fun with you character as you want! E-mail the webmaster for more information at [email protected] The Rules 1.)All Characters must be approved by the Administrative Web Master of the God Arena before being posted as a character of the Arena. If you post prior to your character being accepted, you will be punished unless you are a current member. 2.)The cutoff time for role-plays is Midnight a day prior the night before the actual event. For instance, since most of our Events are now Thursday Night Trauma. The cutoff time would be Tuesday at 12:00. 11:59PM Tuesday night would be safest as the Midnight cut thingy is kind of iffy yet. We're still working that out. So try to get your posts up Tuesday Night as if they are ruled as Wednesday Morning by the message board, they will not count. As for Saturday Slaughters, they are cut off at 12:00 Thursday night. These times have been decided to give the staff a full day to read over all the posts and write up the final results. 3.)Character Control is strictly out of the question. If you do it, you'll be suspended for 5 events. NO QUESTIONS. The only way Character Control is accepted is if you have the consent of the person controlling the character. 4.)Don't pull OOC Wars. You do this too much, and you'll start receiving match losses. Don't argue it. No matter how good you are, you don't need to be an Asshole OOC. 5.)Winners are not decided by their characters, they are decided by post Quality, then Quantity. The character means nothing in deciding the victor, only in the actual writing of the match. 6.)True BS Posts, AKA no mention of the match at all, means that you will not win as the post won't count. The only way the post counts is if you do in some way mention your opponent, best to actually say their name, cause if you don't, it's up to the judges ruling.. 7.) Due to some complaints and our goal to make the Godarena more enjoyable for ALL and make it more accessable to those under age, our staff will not write any sexually explicit matches for any events. This will not affect any individual's posts. You are allowed to post anything you like in the message board. I just want to apologize ahead of time for those who hope to see this material in their matches. 8.)It would be appreciated that EVERYONE read these rules, as failure to comply could result in a suspension, and possibly Contract Termination. |
