That's right, a plywood go cart. Well the frame or body is plywood. Every else is just like a regular go cart. This isn't meant to be a big go cart. Just a regular basic cart. There are two reasons for this and one or two more. First would be shipping costs. This kit is small so shipping will be low. 2nd the frame can be tailored to fit height and weight. Its plywood, cut it and/or add support where you want to.. I don't sell you the plywood. I supply the pattern. The pattern will give you a starting point. It's up to you to use it or change it. Kit comes with the front and rear axle assemblys and the steering column and tie rods already set up. These parts will bolt on after cutting and drilling plywood. No need to buy engine mount. Seat can be bought at store mart for $10. Major parts left are engine and wheels. Engines can be had for $50 sometimes and wheels at worst for about $125 at Northerntool.com. Check out item numbers : 1331, 1334, 13825, and 1366. So if you want an inexpensive way to easily build a go cart with no welding and some basic hand tools with low shipping costs, this may be your best chance. Spindles and axles can be built with 5/8" or 3/4" bolts. |
