COACH THOMAS PRESLEY
Coach Thomas Presley was an assistant coach for two years and a head coach for four years.  He teaches by example and interacts not only with his assistant coaches but his players as well. He is not one to stand on the sidelines, with his arms folded across his chest.  He is a strict taskmaster who expects the best from his players at all times and accepts nothing less.  However, this does not begin to scratch the surface of this coach. He is by no means just a coach, he is a mentor, educator, leader.
The 125lb Central team had nine wins and zero losses for the season, garnering the Central Division Championship in fine form.  Further, Coach Presley coached the 125lb All-Star team to victory.  Coach Presley also coached the 125lb team to a victory at the Fort Belvoir sponsored Freedom Bowl.
Coach Thomas Presley is the consummate football coach.  He teaches 360 degrees of football which encompasses not only the physical aspects of the game but the mental and emotional.  Coach Presley believes that its not just the execution but the preparation which takes the ball downfield.  His positive interaction with his players creates a bond, which is visible both on and off the playing field.  Coach Presley never accepts team accolades alone he is always sure to include his assistant coaches and his players. It is always we, it is always a team effort.  Coach Presley has a commanding presence, exemplifying the traditional vision of the football coach.  What is most inspiring about Coach Presley is that he truly loves the game and truly loves what he does.
*His Philosophy*
1. Education First - A player must understand that he can be a great football player with enormous God given talent, but if he's not producing in school it's a waste.

2. Guidance - We as coaches should try to make a lasting impression on these young men...try to have a positive influence on their lives.

3. Teamwork - There are no I's in the word TEAM!  Everyone must do their part in order for the team to be successful.

4. Hard work & Dedication - Every player must put in the time and effort to excel.  You must be totally committed and dedicated in order to be successful.  This requires everyone giving 100%, during every practice and game.  If you start you must be willing to go all the way..."No Quit".

5.  Sportsmanship - Abide by all rules and accept victory or defeat graciously.
