| Coach Darrance A. Dixon has been a head coach for the last three seasons at Fort Belvoir. Coach Dixon believes strongly in leadership by example. For the past two seasons, Coach Dixon has led his fine-tuned machine to the play-offs. In 2004 & 2005, his team commanded an impressive 6-1 record, losing in the Championship game. The 95lb team also garnered a victory at the Fort Belvoir sponsored Freedom Bowl.
Coach Darrance A. Dixon embodies the true spirit of youth coaching. His spirited style and manner of coaching are well known and often copied. He instructs by example and exemplifies those traits and attributes which clearly set him apart from other coaches. Not content to rest on his laurels as a leader of young men and women, he strives to teach them the moral and tactical aspects of the game of football as well as the physical. Coach Dixon plays an active role in supporting his players academic achievements, placing an emphasis on their education and encouraging his players to excel in the classroom as well as the playing field. .
