Hazzard County Brushes with Fame
Due to the heightened popularity status that comes with being a member of the one and only Hazzard County Redskins Softball Club, many of its members have found themselves brushing shoulders with some serious VIP's. While many of these photos featuring Hazzard County stars and fellow celebrities have made their way to covers of trash magazines and tabloids, we felt it was a good idea to compile a collection of our favorites on this very page for your viewing pleasure.... Enjoy!
Chris Knollman/John Enneking and Jim Scott
Famed 700WLW radio personality Jim Scott met up with his adoring public at Delhi Krogers in April 2006. Here he signs an autograph for a fan while Knollman and Enneking (to the right) wait for their turn in line. The Hazzard County boys signed some softballs for Jim in exchange for an autographed bag of Grippo's Barbecue Potato Chips which Enneking has to this day and values as one of his most prized possessions.
John Enneking and George Jones
Legendary Country Singer George Jones is a huge Hazzard County Redskins fan. Here he caught up to second baseman John Enneking after a big win against MSW Packaging and had his picture taken with John. We understand that Hazzard County Online is George's favorite website.
Chris Knollman and Tom Browning
Reds Hall of Famer Tom Browning also caught up with Chris Knollman during Opening Day 2006. The only man in Reds history to ever throw a perfect game asked Knollman how the squad was looking this year, he gave Knollman his new cell number and asked him to call if we ever needed anyone to fill in. Knollman lied and said that Browning would be a great fill in sometime in the Redskins line-up. Knollman deleted the number and then had to block it when Browning wouldn't stop calling about wanting to play.
Chris Knollman/John Enneking and Bill Cunningham
Another Famed 700WLW personality Bill Cunningham bumped into the Hazzard County boys at Reds Opening Day 2006. Willie got a little upset and flipped the bird at the boys when his publicist confirmed that Knollman and Enneking had each passed him on the list of the Tri-State's most powerful people.
Chris Knollman/John Enneking/Brandon Butcher and Seg-Man Dennison
Seg cornered the Hazzard boys to get a picture with the Pastime Park Summer League tournament champs. Seg was devastated to hear that his Sunday Night Tide Racing Report was going to be pre-empted by Redskins softball on WLW this summer.
