- Involves only 3 characters: two regular X-Files characters, and a 'vilain'
- Involves something from either of the main X-Files characters' pre-X-Files past coming
back to haunt them
- Involves self-sacrifice of some sort
- Neither of the characters can die
- Set after the truth (how long after is up to you)
- Must have Mulder, Scully, Doggett, Reyes, William and Smoking Man in there somewhere, and any other characters you like
- Explains something that wasn't explained in the show. Can be mythology related (eg what is William really, how can alien collonisation be stopped), or not (eg addresses Scully's immortality or Mulder's wedding ring in Travelers), or something humerous (eg why does Michael from Gender Bender look exactly like Krycek)
