| Chewy Brownies Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and prepare a 9"X13" aluminum pan with cooking spray, or shortening. Blend together: 1 cup shortening 4 eggs 2 cups granulated sugar 1 teaspoon salt Add: 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1/2 cup baking cocoa Stir just until dry ingredients are incorporated into the mixture. Spread evenly in the prepared baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes. Cool 10 to 15 minutes then cut into squares. |

| Easy One Egg Cake Note: this recipe makes a coarse, heavy, moist, chewy cake. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a loaf pan, or prepare with non stick cooking spray. Combine: 1 cup flour 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 egg 1 tablespoon shortening Mix until blended then pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake approximately 30 to 40 minutes or until the top of the cake springs back when pressed, or toothpick is clean when removed from center. Remove from oven, cool, and frost as desired. |

Melt chips in a double boiler or low heat. Stir in noodles ... just enough to be coated by the melted chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper, and let cool. |
