THE DONKEY PAGE
Introducing Wobbles! At least her rear end. She was more interested in the hay coming her way than she was the camera. Of course I don't blame her. When your tummy is waiting for breakfast, cameras or other hardware is of little importance.

Wobbles is looking a bit thin ... she's been nursing her little foal, Sweety, for four months, and that tends to take it's toll. Add the fact that it's been winter here in Oregon, which adds to the physical stress. We just got the donkeys about two weeks ago. These pictures were taken a day or so after they arrived.
And here's Sweety introducing herself ... to part of the cat population, that is. She had no name when she came to us, but we found ourselves calling her 'Sweety' and it stuck.

Almost every day the donkeys are taken from their enclosure for a walk around the farm, and are often turned out in one of the goat pastures to graze and run as they choose. The goats tend to stay at the opposite end but that may pass. After all, the donkeys are new, and the goats haven't been exposed to anything larger than themselves until now. For the time being, segregation is 'in', and there are some real stares from the herd.
