RUSTY!

So as you can see we had a bit of rust to contend with. The rockers were shot since it had sat so long in the field. The underbody however was actually pretty clean due to a very nice undercoating from a previous owner. The only bad spot underneath was in the rear where the insulation wicked up moisture.

To the right and below had to be the worst sections by far. The lower passenger side rear section of Goatfolks was basically missing. Along the body a trim molding once existed. It was missing but the rivets that once held it in place rusted nice holes in a straight line down the quarter panel. This wasn't looking too promising at this point with the sun shining through all of these holes. It was a challenge though. We were not looking for a restoration by any means, just to patch up the holes and make it look presentable while keeping the elements out. It was still a tough job.

This is just an interior shot of the same area from the inside. This gives you an idea of just how bad this side was. We also had removed the rear doors since they too were shot. We ended up replacing them with a junkyard set that were in "better" shape, but not perfect.

Lets See How It Turned Out!
