GRASSROOTS
Well, Goatfolks was ready to go so all we needed was some cash to get us on the road.�� We had saved up some money over the summer but we needed a little more.�� Our town hosts a big music festival every year, Grassroots Festival of Music and Dance, so we decided to vend there.�� At the time my parents ran a pizza place so we worked out a deal with them to buy the pizzas from them and then sell them by the slice at the show.
Below is myself, Jeff, Scott, and Jamie, all pizza gurus.
The festival lasts 4 days and we basically busted our butts, working on average 12-14 hour days.�� Our friend Jamie helped us out over the 4 days and kept us supplied with cold beer as well.�� It was a great time, as usual it was filled with friendly people and great music.�� Man did I sleep well when I finally went home after the weekend though!��
So now we had the cash we needed.�� After a couple days rest it was time to pack up the van and head out on the road.��
