*DAILY REPORTS....*
Game 5 vs. Fatima (Trinidad & Tobago) Saturday November 11, 2000.
Going into this game we knew that a tie or loss would give us the silver medal. However a win would give us the gold. Plain and simple. We came out strong and our first rush down the field Fatima surrendered a corner and we converted 32 seconds in to the game. Wayne scored on a drag flick to the low stick side of the goalie. The score remained that way until five minutes into the second half where Fatima converted a penalty corner of
their own. Carlos, our goalie, got a piece of it but not enough of it. Five minutes later Ranjeev Deol put us ahead once again on a scramble in front of the Fatima goalie. Late in the game, cards flew and we found ourselves with only 9 men on the field to there 10. But strong team defense keep the score the same and gave us the Gold Medal.
The final standings were as follows:
1. GOA Reds (Canada)
2. Fatima (Trinidad & Tobago)
3. Maple H.C. (Barbados)
4. G.C.C. (Guyana)
5. Obororous (Venezuela)
6. Raiders (Jamaica)

Game 4 vs. Raiders (Jamaica) Friday November 10, 2000.
This game started off rather slow. We started off at the pace of the Jamaicans who would have been rather happy for a result against us. Ranjeev Deol put us ahead 1-0 shortly into the first half. Soon after that Ranjeev was awarded a penalty flick and Wayne Fernandes converted. The Jamaicans scored on yet another controversial call by the umpire to make the score 2-1
at the half. Ranjeev added three more, with Ken Pereira adding one to make the final score 6-1 in our favor.

Game 3 vs. Obororous (Venezuela) Thursday November 9, 2000.
This game started off very slow. The Venezuelans played that style for this game because they only had 9 players to start and 10 to finish. They got frustrated with every call and eventually their captain got a yellow card, which is when the scoring began. We poured on the pressure and in the end,
the score was 9-2.

Game 2 vs. Maple (Barbados) Wednesday November 8, 2000.
This was our second game of the tournament and Johnnys first. Having John in the line-up was a big boost to most of us, and the team as a whole. Now knowing that every game was a must win, we managed to score first off a corner. Wayne put us in the lead with a drag flick to the roof of the net. Maple tied it not too long after that on a disputed call from the umpire.
We had thought that the shot off the corner was high but not in the umpires eyes. We did not stop; we scored another off two-field play goal from the stick of Ranjeev Deol to give us the lead once again. Each team swapped goals for a final score of 4-2.

Game 1 vs. Guyana - November 5, 2000
(PAHF Club Championships, Outdoor)
Playing on a very wet, puddle-filled surface, the Reds tied Guyana Cricket Club 1-1. We dominated most of the game, but were frustrated to only put the ball in the net at the 55 minute mark. Kevin Pereira was the lone goal scorer for the Reds. Next game is Tues. Nov. 7th vs. Venezuela. We hope to step up our play with the new arrival of John DeSouza, and come away with a win.

RECAP
The GOA Reds completed a very successful indoor tournament, capturing the Trinidad Indoor Championships in tremendous fashion.
Wayne Fernandes led the tournament with 22 goals, and also took home the MVP trophy. The dynamic duo of Ken Pereira and Gary Singh provided the offensive punch, while the two youngsters Jeff Pacheco and Patrick Persaud held their own. Shaun DeSouza played a solid 2 min. in the semis and finals before suffering a minor injury, so the team decided to save him for the outdoor tournament. The surprise hero for the Reds, came in the form of "new" backup goalie Randy Rodrigues. After Ed Fernandes injured his achilles, Randy successfully stepped in to fill in Ed's role for the semis and finals.
Congratulations goes out to the indoor team!!
