Not a huge update today, hope everyone had a good Christmas, and found some good deals on Boxing Day. I just added some new CFL related avatars/icons on the message board.

A couple minor updates today. The Ticket Information section has been updated with the Season's Ticket prices. The Links page was also slightly updated too.

Matt Dunigan was named Head Coach & General Manager of the Calgary Stampeders today, after former Head Coach Jim barker was fired yesterday. Best of luck to both individuals.

Sorry for the lack of updates, but news on the Lions front has been pretty slow. If I don't update again by Christmas.. happy holidays!

The B.C Lions have announced today that club President and C.E.O, Bob Ackles has agreed to a 3 year contract extension. The move comes as no surprise, as Ackles has helped the Lions both on and off the field improve, and help see a huge improvement in attendance in the 2003 season.

If you haven't seen it yet, there is an online petition going around for EA Sports to make a CFL Football game. EA is best known for their sports games, and the Madden series is the best selling football series of all time, so chances are, if a CFL game was made by EA, it would be good. You can sign the petition here. There's already over 500 signatures, so it certainly wouldn't hurt to sign it.

A poll was also added on the left menu bar, so please take the time to vote, it really only takes a second.

Rumor has it 2003 breakout player, Geroy Simon is working on a new contract with head coach Wally Buono. All this after the Lions slotback had a workout with the NFL's Washington Redskins. The Redskins have held several workouts with other CFL players this season. Simon is allowed to sign with Washington, but it is the hope of all Lions fans that #81 stays with the Lions.

Also, in case you haven't heard, the B.C Lions Locker Room Sale was today. The surgery on Dave Dickenson's injured knee, which caused him to miss the Eastern Division semi-finals against Toronto was a success. Best of luck to 'Double D', and I'm sure all of us Lions fan wish him a full, and speedy recovery!

After a couple days of work, the site is starting to come together quite nicely. It's not quite ready for public viewing, but it hopefully should be in another few days. It's just too bad the season won't start for a while yet, that's the only disapointing part. News will be in these sections.
