Laurie Korsgaden Watercolors are best loved for their beauty and detail. Her
love of gardening and animals are shown with every brush stroke. Born in Red-
lands, California, Laurie enjoyed art as a hobby throughout her childhood. She
studied art and science at California State University at Long Beach, and grad-
uated with great distinction with a Bachelor of Science degree. While attending
the University, Laurie worked as a pen and ink illustrator for CSULB, and
created scratch board illustrations for the Cabrillo Museum in San Pedro,
California. She also worked as a freelance medical illustrator using pastels.
Laurie has been using watercolor as her primary medium since 1993, and has
been selling prints of her artwork throughout the world since that time.

Laurie�s ability to follow trends in color and subject matter has helped her
continue as a major force in the art industry since beginning her commercial
career in 1993. Starting as a self published Artist selling open edition prints
to the wholesale framing industry, she was introduced to the licensing industry
by friends in the art industry in the mid 90�s. Since that time, her images have
enjoyed success with over 80 companies worldwide on various products in the
stationery, home d�cor, craft and hobby, and housewares industries.

Ms. Korsgaden is a graduate from Long Beach State in Zoology and Biology and
lives in Northern California with her husband. They have a son attending college
in Southern California and two daughters at home.
