Geo Info :
  • 98 km from Bangalore, via Kanakpura
  • A famous picnic spot situated within the limits of the Muggur forest.

  • Here, the river Kaveri flows through a deep ravine. On top of it is a
chasm 5 m wide, narrow enough for a goat to leap across. At the Sangam
where the two tributaries meet, there is a temple dedicated to
    Sangameshwara.
  • Season: Anytime.. If u wanna walk thru the riverbed, avoid monsoons
  • We've arrived ! declares Sajish..

Sajish peering thru the cavity of rocks of the riverbed..

The river has made intricate cavities, eroding the rocks.. Those could be seen on some parts of the riverbed where there's no water at that time.
We trekked along the riverbed from Sangam to
    Mekedatu.

Self and Sajish, relaxing listening to deafening roar of
    water gushing thru the rocks..
