Adapted from Lineage Prayer and Sadhana by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo

I pray to the Healing Buddha, King of all Physicians, the crown of the Shakyas,

Manjushri, Shantarakshita, King Trisong Detsen, Seyna-lek, King Tri Ralpa, Lahalung Paldor, O-Sung, Palkhor Tsen and Kyide Nyima-gon

With sincere devotion, I pay homage and make ocean and cloud-like offerings

To the assembly of the glorious root and lineage Gurus.

Confessing all my misdeeds and rejoicing in all the virtues

I beseech you to remain for hundreds of aeons and to turn the wheel of Dharma.

By the merit of dedicating all the collections of virtues

Derived from practising this to obtain the essence of enlightenment,

May I and all sentient beings be able to follow

The Path of the Excellent Vehicle in all our lifetimes.

By renouncing the cycle of existence and keeping my moral conduct pure,

By purifying my mindstream and by following the ocean-like deeds of the Sugatas.

May I realize the ultimate and excellent enlightenment

Which transcends all perception of self and aggregates.

Especially, by carefully meditating on the delightful and immaculate

Form of the Healing Buddha, who is the King of All Physicians

And by diligently reciting his profound Dharani mantra,

May the two obscurations and their causes be eliminated!

Furthermore, may all sickness, evil influences and obstacle be pacified!

May there be the good fortune of happiness and wealth in my life

And may all the factors of good health, peace and happiness prevail,

Fulfilling all wishes to attain temporary and ultimate happiness!

Even after death may I be directly guided by the Sugatas and their sons

And continue to hear their gentle voice of inspiration

Whilst assuming miraculous rebirth in the pure realms

May I be blessed to quickly accomplish the two goals!

In every lifetime may I never be parted from perfect teachers

But ever enjoy the wealth of the Holy Dharma!

Fully perfecting the spiritual virtues of the stages and path to Enlightenment,

May I quickly attain liberation to the stage of Vajradhara!

By virtue of these verses of praise and supplication to you, Holy Masters,

May I and all living beings, wherever we are,

Find that illness, poverty, demons and conflicts are stilled,

while holiness and auspicious conditions always increases!
