Today we met Rake in his Calpella Dungeon. although at first sight he seems a frightening beast, his good-hearted joking quickly showed through the harsha appearance. anyways, we decided to begin recording this friday. Rake wants ?to be paid in Jon Bon Jovi records and a forged pre-school teachers credential... we arent asking any questions. so this friday we descend again to the dark caverns to begin bashing out the first tracks of GNORTH OF HELL. it has been decided to debut the entire record next weekend, friday the thirteenth at the fairgrounds... ready yourselves!!!
Today marks the end of our first weekend recording. things are going well, if a little slower than could be desired. we have so far completed drum tracking for one song. things are bound to speed up though... so in addition to rocking out like the metul gods we are, today we explored the surroundings of Rake's dungeon. it lies in hollow next to a murky, dark lake and an encampment of plains indians.... across the ravine lies a battered cabin, roof sunken and windows boarded up.... this is obviously where tates minions are staying while spying on the progress made with GNORTH OF HELL... we scouted out the area but did not attack, although a clash of forces is sure to happen soon. in other news the first run of hand-printed in Talmage THC shirts was completed today. another run will be printed tomorrow and a limited # of shirts will be available this Friday at the Fairgrounds show! so be sure to make it and show up early to get some merch before its all gone! more updates will come as recording continues.....
the madness has begun to take hold... months have passed since my last message... the crew has jumped ship and only I, the captain, remain aboard. strange beasts call in the night, and I fear that soon i will run out of torches and they will invade my cabin.. i have a musket ready for their attack....
