Pictures Only

Updated 21 Oct 00

Okay, it's nigh impossible to stick thumbnails on this page and have your computer load it all up for you without something going awry, so I'm offering up a montage and a file of photos that have to do with ascent, descent and finding a good tree to water.

  76. Pat P. again, after the technical crux of Damit at Blair-Wallis. This guy literally rolled off the sofa and flashed this thin 5.10b crack. Perhaps you are a 13d climber, but never forget your mentors. Pat was one of mine before I even met him. I remember when he broke his own 5.12 barrier... something I may never do!! (that's why God made Pitons!)

Here's some stuff from Mt Moran, 2000:

  77. Ben approaching our campsite on the edge of the Skillet Glacier. I was last to arrive!
  78. Steve Harris on the steep, the artist as subject. It isn't often the photographer finds himself before the lens. This would never have happened if Steve hadn't lost his camera in our boat accident 2 days before this picture was taken. Go figgur...

(More pictures to come...)
