Dear Chapter Members:

What a turn out for the Bosses meeting at the Maison Dupuy!!  If you were there I hope that you enjoyed it as much as I did.  If you weren't, well shame on you !!   We had some old friends join us again, and I know that you would have enjoyed seeing them again.

Rob Perry honored our 2003-2003 Member of the year--- Melanie Gonzales.  Well deserved I know.  Thanks again Melanie for all that you do.  In addition, we formally made a commitment to the Archivist of the New Orleans library that we would support them the best that we can through our donations.  If you would like to visit the archives I feel certain that Wayne Esnard would be happy to see you.  I have attached a letter that he sent to me concerning the library needs.  If you have any ideas on how to help them out and/or how we can raise funds for them please let me know.

Our main speaker was Susan Avery with ARMA International.  I do believe that she is planning to send us her PP presentation to post to the web site.  I treated her to a driving tour of New Orleans before I took her to the airport.  Her favorite stop was Ann Rice's home.  Always a hit with the tourists.  I think that she wants to come back soon!

I want to thank Danielle Honor again for stepping in and helping out.  Barbara Jacobs and Sheila Hymel are still out recovering from surgeries, so all that can help are greatly appreciated.

DO NOT FORGET THE NOVEMBER MEETING!!
Dr. Nolan informed us at the Bosses luncheon that the convent will only accommodate 30 people.  So, the first to sign up will have a very enjoyable evening.  See the web site for details.

I am most interested in hearing from  Julia Vercher and Bill Whitney  when they return from the ARMA international conference in Boston.  I know that they will have a lot of exciting information to share with us.

I tried to collect information on our collective degrees and certifications for my PP presentation.  I did not receive many responses, so if you did not send me this info. Please do so.  I want to compile this information for our chapter history.

Just FYI-have you eaten at Tony Mandina's in Gretna?  Jen and I took a customer there for lunch yesterday and I want you to know it was absolutely awesome!!  The best veal Parmesan I ever ate and it only costs $ 6.95 for lunch.  You gotta go!
