Ok everyone welcome to my club.
We are situated in Edinburgh and are one of, if not the longest running air rifle club in Scotland. Our range is a building attatched to the local village hall (Edinburgh has grown to incorporate many smaller villages and as such many still have a strong affinity to their roots) The range its self has been there for a very long time. In fact almost 100 years. It was used for recreation initally and during war years was a training range for the Home Guard and cadets. This has been verified as several spent .303 blank cases were found behind some of the original fabric of the range. Comming from such a rich historical shooting background its no wonder that the club has produced so many excellent shooters and not just in the target leagues.
The Club incorporates all forms of airgunning from basic plinking with rifle and pistol to full competition shooting to hunting. You will find on most nights if you attend that there will be a wide variety of people all having at least one thing in common, the love of their sport.
Anyone who is safe and responsible can apply to join the club, you don't even need a rifle as there are several club guns available and more often than not you will be bombarded with offers from other club members to try there kit (this goes to show how trusting the people can be considering that some rifle and scope combos can cost in excess of �2000)
