| I always look forward to the quiet times of the day It's my time to do as I wish,;my little get away There are so many things I must think about Then something breaks my train of thought and I want to shout They tell me in public I cannot pray We allow these people to take our beliefs away They can take whatever they want; but Jesus is here with me They'll have to lock me up or tie me to a tree |
| My Jesus shall remain always in my heart Yet they may continue to tear me apart My quiet times are here, can't you read my mind Remember our Savior, for He is always kind During my quiet time the bible I can read For all that's written here is something we all need Now your quiet time can be in the morning or at night Remember Christ is with you in darkness or in light |
