| Since I was out of commision for the last few months recoving from a motorcycle accident and trying to finish a huge re-model on my house, the Pantera was still down. We decided to take another one for the team and fly my T207 out to Ely for the September Silver State event. Chuck, Bob and I flew out. We got up early before the race and painted TEAM PANTERA under the wings. Before the start of the race, we took off and flew over the start line showing the Team Pantera colors for all the Corevette drivers to see. We flew air cover for a while until the Dawg dropped out due to a broken distributor sheer pin. We headed home after flying over his disabled car and giving him a little team spirit! |
