Music

Since music is a huge part of my life, I've devoted a page to my musical interests!

I've played the clarinet since 5th grade, continued to play it in many performing groups at SU, and I received my degree in Music Education with Performance Honors. I've also been singing since 4th grade in choirs and musicals, played piano since I was 14, and also took lessons on saxophone, bassoon, flute, oboe and guitar. I took classes to learn the percussion, brass, and string instruments. I hope to one day play the string bass, Tonya and I will do a string bass duet when she learns too, and hopefully the size of the intruments won't knock us over =)

I play a Buffet R13 Clarinet (unless I'm playing in marching band, then I play a junky plastic one).

At SU I performed in the Syracuse University Marching Band (SUMB), Sour Sitrus Society (the basketball pep band), Wind Ensemble, Concert Band (on saxophone), Symphony Orchestra, and was in the SU Women's Choir. I'm also a member of Tau Beta Sigma, the national honorary service sorority for members of the college band.
