There is a great deal of confusion on whether or not businesses can use GMRS radios in their business operations.
Here is what is permitted, and what is not permitted:
A business cannot be licensed to use GMRS in and of itself.
A business can use GMRS for its operations if EVERY employee in that business has his or her own GMRS license.
Each employee must identify with their own GMRS call sign as per regulations.
It is recommended business use the license-free Family Radio Service, or get a license on the business band.
