Description:
Standing a little under six feet tall, Sebastion is fairly non-descript. Although not unkempt, he obviously spends a minimal amount of time on his appearance. Typically unshaven with hair quickly combed only with his fingers and tired circles beneath his already dark brown eyes, Sebastion gives the appearance of man desperately in need of a good night's rest. His clothing resembles that of a private detective from the 50's - rumpled shirt, non-descript tie, pocket watch, shoulder holster and gun, and trenchcoat. The last used to try and conceal the large sword he almost always carries.

Story:
Born into a life of privilege, Sebastion was the son of a US diplomat. Growing up, he never knew a stable home or set of friends as he traveled throughout the world. He was a hellion, constantly doing what he wanted and not worrying about the consequences, trusting his father's position to protect him. This went on until he was in his early teens and his father gained a permanent position in Hong Kong.

Once there, Sebastion's was placed in an elite private school. Friends were hard to come by, especially with his poor attitude. His attitude continued to decline and his behavior steadily worsened. When he arrested for car theft, his father had finally had enough.

He found himself under the care of Herbert Bu. Sebastion thought he was an old kook and hated him for many months. But eventually he found himself intrigued by the older man and his strange thoughts. While other kids were playing ball or hanging out at the mall, he found himself studying fencing and reading old books about demons and other strangeness. At first Sebastion just had a morbid fascination with it and never believed it to be true, but in time he learned it was all too real.

After his 15th birthday he witnessed Herbert come under the attack. He watched the battle from hiding and saw his mentor call down lightning from the sky and move faster than humanly possible. After the battle, Sebastion emerged from his hiding spot and with the guidance of Herbert Bu, he channeled his chi and healed the wounds the old man had suffered.

From that day on, Sebastion trained daily under Bu, honing his skills as a fighter and as a spell caster. He learned that Bu was waging what he called a "secret war", but he would give no detail, fearing the young and impetuous Sebastion would pull himself into the fray before he was ready. That was the greatest source of friction between the two; Sebastion always though he was ready.

When he was 19, Bu told him that he had learned all he could without experience. He told Sebastion to go and use what he had learned for five years, then return. If Bu thought he was ready then, he would instruct him on the Secret War he fought. With a heavy heart, he left for America and settled in Chicago to do as his master instructed.

Four years later, Bu passed from cancer. Sebastion received a prized sword from his old Master, but no information about his secret war. Content with his life in Chicago, Sebation continued on his chosen path a "paranormal investigator" - helping normal people with magic or occult problems. It would be another six years before the secret war pulled him back to Hong Kong...
