Snoop Dogg is a rapper from Long Beach, California. He started in music when he was found by Dr. Dre in 1992 and was featured in the album "The Chronic". His own debut album was released in 1993 and was a number one hit going four times platinum.

Family Life

Snoop's father left his family when he was three months old.
Snoop Dogg is married to his high school sweetheart Shante Taylor in 1997. They have has three children together: Corde, Cordell and Cori.

Hobbies

Snoop is a very active sports fan and cheers on many of his local sports teams. He is huge fan of football and choached his son's youth football team. His son went on to play football at UCLA for a short period of time.

Media Perception

Snoop Dogg is a very strong supporter of medical cannabis and has incorperated it into his image. He has recieved criticism for his views and the ways in which he expresses these views by the main stream media. Snoop has been nominated for over fifteen Grammys but has never won.
