Special Needs Hardware I would like to have in my classroom:

    Magic Touch Screen

This is a very durable, add-on touchscreen that 'becomes' the mouse, in all applications. Especially great in my Point To Pictures for making 'early' choices, and for all cause/effect software, to introduce them to interacting with pictures. And, of course, any point-and-click type software is instantly accessible simply by touching the thing that would normally require moving, and understanding, a mouse and pointer. Two strong 'hangers' support the Magic Touch's weight while Velcro keeps it affixed to your screen. And it's the only touchscreen available in 17", which I strongly recommend.

    VOICE POWER

    Description
Voice Power is a voice input program designed for use by individuals with learning, upper extremity or vision disabilities. Designed to provide hands free operation of the computer, this program is composed of four separate components: Verbal Mouse, Verbal Keyboard, Verbal Browser, and Verbal Launch Pad. Verbal Mouse enables the user to move the cursor, click, double click, and click and drag via voice command. This component can also be used in conjunction with the manual mouse. Similarly, Verbal Keyboard enables all keyboard functions to be performed via voice command. It can also be used in conjunction with the standard keyboard. Verbal Browser is a set of commands that enables the user to operate Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Explorer by voice, enabling hands-free Internet surfing. Verbal Launch Pad enables other programs on the computer to be launched by voice. To set this aspect of the program up, a program to be launched is selected, added to the Launch Pad, and associated with a word. When the word is spoken, the program is launched. All componens of this program are speaker independent, eliminating the need to "train" the system. However, the user also has the option to train the program and to replace commands. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Window
s NT 4.0 or Windows 95, 8 megabytes (MB) RAM, and 10 MB hard disk space.  $95.00
