Astronomy...
Hey, a pic of me and my 10" dob!
Astronomy Light!
These are pictures of my prototype.  My design is simple, and I use high quality electronic components that deserve my limited one-year warrenty*.  The light operates on one (1) 9volt battery (included), and uses one LED light (640nm).  It emits a difuse red glow that can be ajustable from 0 to nearly 5000 milicandecents.  Theoretical battery life in exes of 900 hours on one battery (depending on brightness).
One (1) 9volt battery included!
Easaly adjust brightness with the potentiometer and one thumb!
$15.00 for one unit!  This is a competitive price, considering Orion sells a similar (and more profesional looking) light for $17.50, and that does not cover shipping either.  To contact me send an e-mail to: [email protected]
I am a member of the ASKC (Astronomical Society of Kansas City) and local pickup is ideal.
Also, I can costomize the light for you, using the same high quality parts, and limited one-year warrenty*, just contact me. (price will be higher, e-mail for quote.)
*Limited one-year warrenty is for workmanship, not materials, for the durration of one (1) yearafter the shipping date.  This means that if the light does not turn on, and there is a fresh battery instaled, I will investigate it for you, (you must pay all shipping charges that apply) if the soldering or some similar thing has gone wrong, I will fix it for free. However I can only replace components, and you will be charged for the price of the component/s that must be replaced, and no laybor.  After one year, send me an e-mail, and I will send you a word document that includes all the nesisary information for fixing the light yourself, after the warrenty has lapsed.
I appologize for my gramatical mistakes!
And for anything else that might go wrong...
