Recently, a flash flood turned our street into a raging river. Top right, you can see a bridge through which our road passes. The water level was 7' above road level. Our son Isaac became the neighborhood hero when he evacuated a small crippled boy. He had been left alone in the cabin below. Bottom right, is a picture of the yard of the cabin as the water started to subside. With water raging Isaac carried the boy in his arm to safety through water more than three feet deep. A crowd of people cheered as they watched. |
