The roof had to be formed and supported with lumber.
These are the supports under the new roof's surface.

Along with our own building project, we have been working to help a sister church, 100 miles away, that lost it's roof in a wind storm.  With the help from some dear friends in the US, we were able to raise the money for materials.  We met with a Christian engineer, began the project, and removed the forms to reveal a beautiful new concrete roof.  Praise the Lord!

The surface was covered with rebar for strength.
This is a front view of the new roof.
The cement was mixed on the ground and carried by hand.
