Ricky's my Hero
I often wondered why?
So often I would cry...
I looked around, somehow I found a reason to fly...

I reached my hand way up to the sky and shouted
"Ricky you are my hero little guy".

For reason unknown...I found I was shown the beleif
of my childs strengths!!

I looked in his eyes he said "mommy I am alive" and
I smile each day that he breathes.

He is a joy to my life, brought light to my soul and
guided me through the rough seas. He kisses my tears
and tells me how much he loves me each day and never
complains about his disease!

For God brought me an angel and for this I am gratful
and surely he is the wind beneath my wings.  So now we
fly high and reach up to the sky knowing one day we will
be free...

My son I love you forever... and will always look forward
to the day...that you see me and smile and say "It was
only a short while...though forever is an eternity...
And that is where we will be, you and me...
