This Fear within Me
By Gloria Thompson (Dawson)

No one really understands
Quietly killing me
More and more
As each minute of a day goes by
I try to control it
But in the end, time will take its toll
And quietly with out any signs I'll be gone
Sometimes it gets too hard to handle
And I feel the voice of death reaching out for me, calling me
The silent killer taking my life away
I look normal
No outward signs
But only I understand what is happening to me
No one could ever know what I go through each day
The worrying, the not knowing what is ahead
For each day for me is a challenge.
