We did it!! Retired from the KSC "Rocket Ranch" in May of 2005 and settled into our digs in Jonesborough, Tennessee.
Located south of Jonesborough, one of our properties is at the
top of the ridge in the center of photo, up near and into the wooded area. The
property, having been mowed, appears lighter in color in this photo. An amount
equal in size runs up into the woods. SOLD IT in September 2006.
Our plans to build here never did materialize. Instead, we bought a new house just outside the quaint village of Jonesborough in late 2004 and moved into it in early 2005.
The picture directly below is our home, which is about 1-1/2 miles outside of Jonesborough. The pictures below that are of our property, located about 15 miles further out of town.
