| I was told about this signing by a friend and I didn't believe her as no one famous ever came to Crawley! So I rang up my local Virgin and they confirmed it was definatly on at 12 on Thursday (I can't remember the exact date or even the month). So I organised to go down there with my sister as I had study leave and bought as much Ash stuff as I could before the day. The day came and we got to the record store about 9 even though it wasn't going to start for ages but we wanted to be the first there. We found out that they were now coming at 1 because it was one of their birthdays and were a bit warn out and had hangovers. So we waited for near 4 hours for them to come and we did this by passing time with other Ash fans who had came that day some had nearly come as far as Croydon. As the time drew near we were asked to stand up as everyone had got fed up and had all sat down and we all got our camaras out. Then at last they came down the stairs and everyone felt really excited. I was the 6th one in the queue so I was one of the second lot of people who got to see them. The first member of Ash I met was Mark who looked slightly confused and dazed. I then moved on to Rick who asked how I was I returned the question to him which he was quite surprized about. Then it was Tim, who looked the most awake out of all of them then Carlotte who was wearing dark glasses and her hair was rather a mess. We went round to see them about 4 times and it was great and seemed really sincere, they asked us questions and they answered our questions. |
