| 1.Whats been the highlight of you career so far? touring the UK definitely. reaching as many people as possible, and playing with amazing bands, be they ELVISS, who went round with us, or the wicked local supports who consistently blew us away. a lot of talent hiding around the uk there. 2.Any tips for people wanting to start a band? be honest. don't play covers. clean your teeth. 3.Whats the weirdest thing thats ever happened to you on tour? people asking us to sign shit...people who know the words to songs we haven't released...argh... 4.Any artists that you would like to tour with in future? vex red hundred reasons hell is for heroes. biffy clyro, this girl, caretaker. mclusky (oh, that's happening, isn't it, 4th - 14th sep) 5.Are you for or against music being shared free on the internet eg napster? many people fail to realise that napster and mp3s are the reason the music industry is being crippled, and also that the crippling of the industry isn't a good thing. if everyone just burns cds for free off the internet, the companies make no money and have to make cuts. that's why people's favourite bands get dropped and don't release any more music. that's why it's so difficult to get signed, especially in this country. we're all in favour of checking out a few tracks and then buying the album, but you have to feed the monster in order to get the music!!!! 6.Best song the band have ever written is....? oh goodness, that'd be conceited to say. whatever our newest one is, we always love that one the most. 7.What was the first gig you ever went to? Jamie's was a Queen tribute band. Jon's was probably the first gig we ever did. And Guy's was seeing MC Hammer supported by Vanilla Ice in Singapore!!! Top that!!! 8.If you weren't in a band what do you think you would be doing? At university probably. we're only young. 9.What are you listening to at the moment? Guy is probably listening to Dillinger or Muse or something like that. Jamie is listening to the example peices on the the Jazz Piano Grade 1 cd, and Pantera. Jon isn't listening to anything cos all his cds got nicked at reading...terrible! 10.What has been the best gig you have played so far? Probably one of the ones with Vex red - Portsmouth, or London Uni. Massive good. |
