If you were to ask me what went on before this gig I could only tell you a few things that actually happened, and if they did happen I have probably forgotton the facts. All I remember is being filmed talking to my sister and talking to a channel four person about where Paddington Bear came from (which we found out in the end).
Anyway...this gig was to be special as only 50 people were invited via a competition on the official site and was as I mentioned being filmed. We were all pushed in to the bar and socialised with other fans, the band and a few channel four people. This lasted for about 30 minutes and then we all rushed upstairs to the actual stage, looking back I don't really know why I headed for the front as I wasn't really looking forward to being filmed as was only there for the band.
The band came on and went straight in to Folded Paper Figures, this made the crowd slightly mental and as everyone got pushed forward the people in the front got pushed on to the moniters, I fortunally managed to save myself from being pushed but as there was only a white line to act as a barrier I did get my come back on the last tune. The setlist was that of the Papa Roach shows they had done a few days before and went down well, and the atmosphere was really good. Two songs were played twice, Nightvision was one of them but I can't remember the other one, it was cool with everyone. After the whole set had been played the band asked us if we would like to hear one more song and that song was slow song. We were all invited to the aftershow party, which I can't remember anything of other then talking to some more people. All in all it was a brilliant day, even though it was a pretty early show the atmosphere was good and the guys played brilliantly.
