Canucks History
The Vancouver Canucks got off to a great start in the Internet Hockey League.  In season 1, the Canucks went all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals where they faced the Carolina Hurricanes.  After winning the opener, the Canucks then dropped the next four games.  They lost the last three games each by one goal.

In season 2, Vancouver opened the play-offs by defeating the Detroit Red Wings in six games.  In round 2, they dropped four one-goal games as they were ousted by the Dallas Stars in six games.

The Canucks opened the season 3 play-offs by eliminating the Phoenix Coyotes in six games.  The Canucks had a commanding three games to one lead in the second round against the Colorado Avalanche and then disaster struck.  Colorado then won the next three games including one-goal decisions in games six and seven to take the series.  Goaltender Ed Belfour was the League Smirnoff Ice Award given annually to the player who acumulates the most "three-star" points throughout the season.

Season 4 was an absolute nightmare for the franchise.  The team failed to make the play-offs for the first time in their history.
