Chennette felt losing Primeau would leave the Toronto Marlies lacking a center, so Coggs offered Manchester Center Jeff Guiliano.

Coggs hinted there were some other names thrown around, but out of respect for those players would not reveal their names. Rumors have circulated that Coggs asked for McCabe as apparently they got drunk together on more than one occassion back when McCabe was playing for the Islanders and Coggs was a Long Island Alcoholoc-in-training. Coggs would not confirm or deny the rumor.

Chennette could not be reached for comment. Reports indicate he was securing his house out of fear the Toronto locals would not like him trading Sundin. He has also made repeated calls to his insurance company as he wants to increase his life insurance death benefits. The latest report indicates he left Toronto and headed to Niagra Falls for an evening of drinking and naked women at Sundowners.
