Coggs New GM in LA

 

            At an afternoon press conference, the Los Angeles Kings welcomed their new GM, Pat Coggs. Coggs comes to Los Angeles with significant FHL experience. Coggs stated he plans to be in Los Angeles for a long-term and plans on turning the Kings into a dynasty.

            "There are some aspects of the team I like, and there are some things I feel we definitely need to improve upon", Coggs said. His first order of business into get the Kings into the play-offs. "Losing is a dangerous thing. Losing is habit forming. Once it becomes accepted, it becomes a hard trend to break." After qualifying for the play-offs in four of their first five seasons of existence, the team has been on the outside looking in for the past 2 years. In their four appearances the Kings have won only two play-off series, opening round wins over
San Jose in season 1 and Columbus in season 5.

            "This team hasn't had much success. I am here to change that."
