Circuit Breaker Granville is a creative numeracy and literacy program working with young women from culturally diverse backgrounds who are identified as being 'at risk' in their transition from school to further education or employment |
|||||||||||||||
We aim to present learning as a fun and outgoing process to our target group as well as help provide further education and employment options for the participants |

Participant numbers are limited to 45 per year. Two six month programs are provided to ensure all students interested have a chance to participate. |

Circuit Breaker not only assists in numeracy and literacy skills but also helps participants to value oneself and promote cultural pride. It takes a fun an creative approach to learning that allows participants to set their own goals in order to meet their own needs. The enviroment provided for the participants is 'safe' and 'flexible' and this encourages the participants to acknowledge their skill, build their self-esteem and assertiveness, challenge new ideas and to look forward to their future learning and employment potential. |
