HINTS, STRATEGIES, AND RUMORS!!
This page is for hints and strategies
for Final Fantasy III, All hints are from my own game playing experience
unless otherwise indicated. If you have a hint, strategy or rumor
not posted here, e-mail it to me, I'll post it. Just be sure to leave
some form of identification so I can give you credit. It doesn't
have to be your real name, a nickname will do. Also note, I do not
post e-mail addresses with submitted info unless otherwise instructed.

HINTS!
1) When fighting the Phantom Train
in the forest, a quick and easy way to win is to cast a phoenix down on
the train. Also note, it's a good idea to unequip Shadow after you
win, because he will be leaving your group very soon, and you don't' want
your stuff to go with him.
2) When leaving Triangle Island,
before you jump to the airship, your asked if you want to wait, or jump.
Select "wait", and when there's 5 seconds left, Shadow will appear and
jump with you. If you do not wait, you will loose Shadow forever.
3) In the World of Balance, there
is a wounded soldier in the town of Mobliz, he asks you to read letters
for him, If you do this for a couple of days, he will reward you.
STRATEGIES!
1) Before you go to the Floating Island,
it's a good idea to gain as many levels for your characters as possible.
I good way I found was to retrace Sabin's journey after being separated
from the group at the Lete River.
2) When equipped with the Cursed
Shield, try wearing a ribbon to counter act the effects brought on by the
Shield.
RUMORS!
1) You can revive General Leo, by fighting
over 4000 monsters in the forest above the Veldt in the World of Ruin.
After fighting the 4000 monsters, you will fight a VERY large and very
difficult monster, who will give you a resurrection potion once killed.
You can use this on General Leo's grave to raise him.
NOTE: General Leo is DEAD! D.E.A.D,
Dead. He's not coming back, get over it. This rumor is Bull****,
but it's a rumor so it gets posted.
2) Shadow has the key to the house
the burned down in the World of Balance.
NOTE: I've heard this is true, however
I have yet to figure out where Shadow keeps the key. So don't feel
bad if you can't get this to work, I can't either.
3) The Paladin Ring does exist.
I don't know, does it? I can't
find it. Anyone who knows if this is true, I'm sure lots of people
would like to know where to find it. Me included.
4) Gogo is actually Daryl.
This could have been true, the facts
add up. Crashed on remote island, body never found. But it's
not. According to reliable sources, Gogo is actually a character
from another Final Fantasy. Don't ask which one cause I don't know,
and it's only available in Japan so....
This is all the info I have posted so
far, but trust me, there is allot more going up and soon so keep checking
